About Me


Jordan Mendiola was born in 1986 in Corpus Christi, Texas. In the summer of 2012, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in art at Texas A&M University of Corpus Christi. Here, he won Best of Show in the 38th Annual Student Art Show with his oil painting, "Seven Strips of Bacon." After graduating, he joined the South Texas Art League (STAL) and the Art Center of Corpus Christi.  In STAL's annual exhibition at the Art Center in 2012, Jordan won his second Best of Show award for the same painting. In January of 2013 he entered the 40th Annual All Membership Exhibition and won his third overall Best of Show with "Tío Decrépito." As a result of winning the All Membership Exhibition, Jordan was given a solo show at the Art Center of Corpus Christi. Jordan's exhibition, Dread Zone, was on display at the Art Center of Corpus Christi in January-February 2014. Jordan is currently living and working as an artist in Corpus Christi, Texas.
